Las Vegas to the Federation with our Mom

Mom loved Las Vegas and she went with Googie and I to the Federation of Eastern Stars. It was such a precious trip and she was not able to be in the sun so I would pull up in the shade and Googie would get her out the truck with an umbrella over her head. Rita didnt go she had stayed back. What a ROAD TRIP! It would be the last trip for Mom to Las Vegas. Always as I say take advantage of all moments.

Rick James wanna Be

This was at my cousin Mary's 50th Birthday Party. My hubby decided to put on his 70's outfit and be Rick James I think. It was a fabulous evening and I didnt dare put any wig on top of my Sisterlocks when they were only 6 weeks old.

Amaria Celebrating her 2nd Birthday

The Birthday Girl was born Januar 8, 2007 in her Ti Ti Boo Boo (Googie) Mustang. Isnt she a Blessing, yes she is. She weighed 2lbs 10oz. I was in Joplin Missouri at a funeral and could not
wait to get back to check on my second niece. Amaria looks like her Granny, Armanda Louise Dees.

Battle of the Bands Home Depot Center 2007 - 1

We are getting ready to ride the Bus with the

Inglewood High Marching Band as Band Parents.

It was fun and although statistics say our students

are bad in Inglewood, we had no problem and the

students were very manerable which is awesome.

The jackets were made for us to look sharp

I want to be the Drum Major when I grow up!

California and it was off the chain do you hear

me. I felt proud to have been one of the parents

and aunt to talented student from Inglewood

High School.

Fans for the Drum Major Wesley who was

promoted from playing the symbols to the head

guy. He also continued to play in the Drumline.

This time Inglewood High placed 3rd. Any time

the Southern bands showed up from Georgia,

Inglewood High Marching Band stayed in the

race with them but would place 3rd. Remarkable

challenge considering the Southern Children start

when they are in Elementary. I witnessed that

this year in Arkansas when I saw Elementary Children

as Drum Major and playing Instruments. You see

one of the Judges which is the brother to Maurice White of Earth

Wind and Fire. I will think of his name later.

Battle of the Bands - Disneyland (2006)

Here again, the Inglewood High Marching Band

is competing and this particular year they place 1st

and what an awesome feeling it was to see your

children win and on the field at the Home Depot

Center in Carson and then to March on the

Main Street Parade.

enjoying the perks. Yes Sir/Maam! Rashaad is playing
